 VOTER TURNOUT CONTINUES – 2024 PRIMARY ELECTION EARLY VOTING

 Voters continue to visit the Early Voting Centers territory-wide to cast their votes for the 2024 Primary Election. Supervisor Fawkes wishes to express to the community that the process is efficient and transparent, and their sacred vote is secure. Early Voting continues through the weekend and will end on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, in all districts. Early Voting has been ongoing in St. Croix and St. Thomas and will kick off on Saturday, July 20th on St. John. 

The number of electors who have participated in Early Voting to date is as follows: St. Thomas- 94, St. Croix-290, and St. John-0, for a total participation of 384

Voters have until Tuesday, July 23rd to participate in Early Voting to avoid the lines on Primary Election Day – August 3, 2024. Early Voting dates are Tuesday, July 16, 2024, to Tuesday, July 23, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily on St. Thomas & St. Croix. St. John scheduled hours are 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, July 20 – July 23, 2024. 

Early Voting locations in both districts are as follow: 

  • St. Croix Elections Office-Sunny Isles Shopping Center Unit 26 
  • St. Thomas Elections Office- Lockhart Gardens (Upstairs Banco Popular) 
  • St. John Elections Office- Market Place Suite II, 3rd Floor 

Supervisor Fawkes reminds the public that Absentee Ballots are available as an alternate for anyone that is unable to Early Vote or participate on Primary Election Day. Absentee Ballot applications are available at the Elections System offices and at our website www.vivote.gov.
