Supervisor of Elections, Caroline F. Fawkes, is encouraging voters to check their registration status prior to visiting a voting center to cast their ballots. A voter has many options to check their registration status. Voters can check their registration status by visiting, https://vivote.gov/voters/lookup/ or visiting or calling their respective Elections office. If you are an inactive voter, you are still registered to vote. You may update your registration any time before 7:00 P.M. on Election Day and receive a ballot. Before you may vote, you will be required to complete an affirmation of current and continuous residence as prescribed by the Supervisor of Elections. On this form, you must affirm that you continue to reside at the address at which you are registered, have moved within the same district, or have moved to another district within the Virgin Islands. Your registration status will be reinstated to active once you complete the voting process. An inactive voter can update their registration status by visiting https://vivote.gov/status/ or visiting their respective office listed above.
