On Wednesday, November 6, 2024, the Board of Elections began counting the 2024 General Election Absentee Ballots. In the St. Croix District, 147 absentee ballots were counted with an outstanding balance of 154 ballots. In the St. Thomas-St. John District, 244 absentee ballots were counted with an outstanding balance of 91 ballots. One provisional ballot was counted in the St. Thomas-St. John District with non-outstanding. Please see the attached unofficial reports with the updated contest.
The Board of Elections will resume the counting of absentee ballots on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at 2:00 PM. Office location is as follows:

Supervisor of Elections, Caroline F. Fawkes, is informing the public write-in votes will be provided as part of the certification of the 2024 General Election. The certification of the 2024 General Election is scheduled for Friday, November 15, 2024.
