2022 GENERAL ELECTION CANVASSING OF ABSENTEE BALLOTS

On Monday, November 14, 2022, the Board of Elections resumed counting the 2022 General Election Absentee Ballots. In the St. Croix District, 315 absentee ballots were counted with an outstanding balance of 73 ballots. In the St. Thomas-St. John District, 450 absentee ballots were counted with an outstanding balance of 71. A total of 102 Provisional Ballots will be vetted from the St. Thomas- St. John District. Please see the attached unofficial reports with the updated contest as of Monday, November 14, 2022.

The Board of Elections will resume the counting of absentee ballots on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at 12:00 PM in the St. Thomas office and 1:00 PM in the St. Croix Office. Office locations are as follows:

St. Thomas Elections Office- Lockhart Gardens (Upstairs Banco Popular)

The Absentee Ballots canvassing will be streamed via www.vivote.gov, facebook.com/wtjx, and facebook.com/vivote.gov courtesy of the Virgin Islands Public Broadcasting (WTJX).
