Supervisor of Elections, Caroline F. Fawkes, is informing the public that the deadline to register to vote, to be eligible to participate in the November 3, 2026, GENERAL ELECTION is Sunday, October 4, 2026. Pursuant to VI Code 18, Chapter 5, voter registration is closed for a period of 30 days immediately preceding and five days immediately following each election. 

The Elections System offices will provide extended voter registration hours effective Saturday, September 19, 2026, to Sunday, October 4, 2026. Fees for lost or stolen Voter ID Cards will be waived. The extended voter registration hours will take place at the respective Elections System Offices: 

ST. CROIX & ST. THOMAS ELECTIONS SYSTEM OFFICES 

October 1-2, 2026 – 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM 
Saturday, October 3, 2026 – 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM 
Sunday, October 4, 2026 – 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM 

ST. JOHN ELECTIONS SYTEM OFFICE 

Thursday October 1, 2026- 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
